The Big Pink is an English duo named after a house in West Saugerties, New York where Bob Dylan and The Band wrote some of their earliest tunes. While the band doesn’t really sound anything like the artists that wrote music in that famous house, “Give It Up” is still worth a couple spins. Milo Cordell lays down a foundation of keys, horns and a striding beat so that Robbie Furze can ear-worm a chorus into our heads.
